:: Things I'm Grateful For ::
I know that a lot of my posts the last couple of months have been a depressing outpouring of neurosis but I do have a lot of things to be thankful for:

The Lakers. Since my Dodgers collapsed and my 49ers just plain suck, the Lakers give me something, however ephemeral, to root for.
My pet turtle Mike and my cat Rick-E. I'm not even a cat person but Ricky is the sweetest cat ever. And watching Mike eat just makes me happy.
No Hurricanes this year.
Even though I've been out of school for two years, I've learned a great deal about life in that time.
My friends who I still keep in touch with (however infrequent it may be).
Learning how to bartend: it's a great way to meet women (now I just need to learn how to pick up women).
My guitar.
Reading this article. Seriously, Js? Wow.
Steak sandwiches. Considering the state of their sports and the city in general, this is what keeps Philly alive.
Learning experiences.
Movies like "Knocked Up." I know it's just a movie but if a guy that looks like that can land a chick that looks like Katherine Heigl, there just might be hope for me.
