:: Chips, and more of it ::
Ever since moving here I've made a dedicated effort to eat healthier that what I might consider normal. First on the list, PopTarts don't count as fruit. Seriously, I don't buy much junk food, if at all. If I want something crunchy, I have celery or carrot sticks with peanut butter. If I'm craving something sweet, I munch on fruit. If I needed a quick bite, I've avoided places like Burger King and McD's and get myself a relatively healthier (and tastier) sandwich.
So why is it that every time finals rolls around I develop a craving for chips? Any kind of chips for that matter. Potato, tortilla, or plantain (if you haven't tried them, you must for they are delish), it doesn't matter. I want something crunchy, salty, and a little bit oily. It happened last quarter and it's happening now. I had a bag of plantain chips with lunch and I just bought a large bag of corn chips that I hope lasts until tomorrow afternoon.
